CCM’s Vision for Tanzania: A Commitment to Progress and Development
In a recent campaign rally in Mbeya, CCM’s presidential running mate, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, has urged Tanzanians to support President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s re-election bid. Dr. Nchimbi highlighted the transformative leadership and remarkable achievements of the current administration, emphasizing the need for a continuation of effective service delivery and sustainable development.
Dr. Nchimbi’s speech focused on the tangible improvements brought about by President Samia’s leadership. He pointed out that the implementation of the CCM election manifesto has led to significant advancements in various sectors. In the agriculture sector, for instance, the supply of subsidized fertilizer in Mbeya Region has increased from 52,409 tonnes to 61,570 tonnes over the past five years, resulting in reduced production costs and enhanced yields for farmers.
Dr. Nchimbi also addressed the healthcare sector, noting that every district council in Tanzania now has at least one hospital, a stark improvement from previous years when many areas lacked such essential services. In education, President Samia’s administration has been praised for its efforts in constructing new classrooms, laboratories, and dormitories to alleviate overcrowding and improve access to quality education in both primary and secondary schools.
Furthermore, Dr. Nchimbi highlighted President Samia’s leadership in maintaining peace and unity in the country. He stated that Tanzania has gained greater respect regionally and globally under her administration, emphasizing the country’s peaceful and united status with a strong international standing.
Looking ahead, Dr. Nchimbi outlined several pledges for Kyela District if CCM secures victory. These include the construction of four new health centers, seven dispensaries, and 11 staff houses. Additionally, CCM plans to establish a nursing college, drill 110 deep boreholes to improve water access, upgrade roads to tarmac standards, and develop concrete roads and modern agricultural markets. The party also aims to construct a specialized fish market with cold storage facilities and storage warehouses to boost local economic activities.
CCM’s parliamentary candidate for Kyela, Baraka Mwamengo, echoed the party’s commitment to the community’s well-being. He cited key projects such as the 5bn/- mother-and-child building and 12.4bn/- worth of ongoing water projects as evidence of the government’s dedication to progress. Mwamengo expressed confidence that these infrastructure projects have strengthened public trust and motivated citizens to re-elect CCM, ensuring the continuation of development initiatives.
