Who’s Eligible for this Housing Adventure?
For returning players, a quest awaits to guide you through the Housing tutorial, teaching you the ins and outs of homeownership in Azeroth. New players, on the other hand, will have the option to continue their New Player Experience or dive straight into the Housing tutorial once they reach the end of the initial boat tutorial.
And this is the part most people miss… even if you don’t have the Midnight expansion, you can still visit neighborhoods and collect housing items through various activities and quests in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Dornogal. However, purchasing a home and joining a neighborhood requires the expansion.
What’s in Store with Housing Early Access?
The Housing Tutorial: Whether you’re a newbie or a veteran, this tutorial will teach you the basics of setting up and decorating your dream home.
Join a Neighborhood: Establish your home base in Founder’s Point (Alliance) or Razorwind Shores. You can choose to be part of a public neighborhood, a guild-specific neighborhood, or even create your own!
Buy a House and Make it Yours: Find the perfect location in your chosen neighborhood and purchase a house. Customize it with your unique style and make it truly yours.
Decorate with Creativity: Use your collection of over 600+ housing items to design your space. The new Housing Dashboard (hotkey- H) will be your best friend, allowing you to view, sort, and filter items based on type, style, culture, and more.
Professions and Crafting: Collect resources and craft decor items to enhance your home or sell them to other players. Explore professions from Classic WoW to the present and discover hidden treasures in your reagent bank.
Level Up Your Home: Players who purchase homes can start leveling them up even before the Midnight expansion release. And for those who haven’t bought a home yet, don’t worry! The experience you gain from collecting items will be applied to your home once you purchase Midnight.
